Pehle to akele se hote the hum bheed mein..

Par ab to tanhayee mein bhi rehna seekh liya..

 

Log muskura kar de jate the hame dhoka..

Par ab to humne aankhon ko padhna seekh liya..

 

Koi sunta hi na tha hamare dil ki aawaz ko..

To humne us aawaz ko shayari mein badalna seekh liya...
