ek sundar chanchal ladke ne
chhup-chhup kar chupke-chupke se
ladki ki tasveer banaayi
aur ye keh kar use dikhaayi

is par apna naam to likh do
chhota sa paigaam to likh do
ladki pehle to sharamaai
phir man hi man mein muskaai

ik din usne bholepan se
poochha ye apne saajan se
ab main khush rehti hu jaise
sada hi kya khush rahungi aaise

usne kaha ki meri raani
itni baat hai maine jaani

kal ki baat na koi jaane
kehte hain ye sabhi siyaane

ladki par haq apna jataaya
ghar waalon ne haami bhar di
pardesi ki marzi kar di

pyaar ke waade huye na poore
rah gaye saare khwaab adhoore
chhod ke saathi aur hamsaaye
chal di ladki des paraaye

do baanhon ke haar ne roka
vaadon ki deewaar ne roka
ghaayal dil ka pyaar pukaara
aanchal ka har taar pukaara

par ladki kuch munh se na boli
patthar ban kar gair ki ho li
ab gumsum hairaan si hai wo
mujhse bhi anjaan si hai wo

jab bhi dekho chup rehti hai
kehti hai to ye kehti hai

kal ki baat na koi jaane
kehte hain ye sabhi siyaane
