Sable Island, now a Canadian National Park reserve, has a rich history dating back to the 1600s. It is known as the graveyard of the Atlantic with over 150 recorded shipwrecks. But the major reason it's so well known is for the over 500 wild horses that inhabit the island. It also has over four hundred thousand grey seals that call Sable Island their home.
