This photo from 15 April, 1957 showed passengers excited to begin the world's longest road trip. A one of a kind adventure, the 'Albert Tour Bus' departed from the Victoria Coach Station in London and would ferry the passengers all the way over to Calcutta in India over 45 days. The fare wasn't cheap either; one ride cost 85 pounds.
